The app
What we collect
Nothing. Alien Terrain has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app never sends data over the network.
What stays on your device
Your saved worlds, notes, explored stamps, visit records, the comparison count and the optional name and emblem world of your profile are kept in a local database on this device. The exoplanet catalog is built into the app and is read only.
Third-party services
None. The app works fully offline and contains no third-party code.
Deleting your data
Reset progress in Settings erases explored stamps, visit records and the comparison count. Notes and saved worlds can be removed one by one in Collection. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
This website
Fonts
This website loads its typeface from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font file from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store this information.

The contact form on the website is a visual demo only. It does not transmit, store or process what you type. To reach us, write to the email address below.
Cookies and analytics
The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
Apple analytics
If you have chosen to share app analytics with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous usage and crash statistics. We cannot identify you from them, and the app itself sends us nothing.
